in Texas, it’s not just Blacks and Hispanics who are outnumbered, so too are those who believe in evolution and the value of a liberal arts education. The Texas Freedom Network has led the fight to bring needed attention to the downballot races for the State Board of Education, whose right wing leaders made national news as they deleted references of Thomas Jefferson, Thurgood Marshall, and Cesar Chavez in high school textbooks. The logo we designed for TFN adds a small twist to a recognizable quote that has helped TFN raise record amounts for their voter engagement efforts.
